Emoji Chef Privacy Policy

Last updated August 29, 2026

Emoji Chef is an independent AppOverflow app. AppOverflow does not collect personal data from the app and does not operate an account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or sticker-download service for it.

Information stored on your device

Favorite recipes are stored locally in an Apple app group so the app, Messages extension, and optional keyboard share the same list. Search terms are held only while you use the interface. Removing the app deletes this local information.

Sticker downloads and Google

When you choose a valid recipe, the app downloads its artwork directly from Google's gstatic.com service. The download uses an ephemeral connection without an account, cookies, advertising identifiers, persistent credentials, or a persistent URL cache. AppOverflow cannot access or store the request.

Google handles the real-time file request under the Google Privacy Policy.

Keyboard Full Access

Full Access is required only by the optional keyboard to download a selected sticker and place its PNG or GIF on the pasteboard. Emoji Chef does not record or transmit what you type. The Messages extension inserts stickers directly and does not require Keyboard Full Access.

Your choices and deletion

You can use the optional keyboard for ordinary text entry without Full Access, which prevents sticker downloads from the keyboard. Removing Emoji Chef deletes locally stored favorites. AppOverflow holds no account or server-side profile to delete.
